He's so fucking stupid. He's an asshole. He thinks he's protecting her, but, he's not??? This son of a bitch is deluding himself. If you had any sense or logic, I'm sure things would have turned out for the better, and you'd be more likable, although you'd still be a shitty person. However, that didn't happen, because apparently, you let your brain rot.
His "justification" isn't even a strong justification that makes you feel like, ok, he's a fucking jerk, but he's also pretty sad and pitiable. But no, he's just a stupid motherfucker with petty motivations behind his horrendous actions.
He may not have intended to in his past life and was trying to save another person, but the mc is right for not loving him now. Not only because of his character but because he left her and her baby to die and he betrayed her. Damn. What a smart guy. I mean, sure, he feels guilty, big whoop. He's made one too many mistakes. His best option was to treat her with love and respect in this life, but I guess that was too much to handle for his itty bitty brain and his twisted soul.

Also, what's with this sudden coughing up blood??? Like, that makes no sense??? I'd rather the author just set up the mc with someone who's an absolute sweetheart who's rich and intelligent and have the mc and her abuser calm discussion about their past lives and make an agreement not to get involved with each other anymore. Then the mc marries the sweetheart, has children together with them. And maybe the abuser gets a girlfriend who he truly loves and wouldn't even dream of hurting, because I think he deserves some slim chance of being happy and fix his mistakes (if he fucks up even more though, beyond what happened already, his dick should just be cut off, he should be publicly humiliated, disowned, and live like a lowlife). And maybe blond girl and Duo realize it's better to stop their stupid antics, beg for forgiveness sincerely, and just love each other.
