In Naruto, the main focuses are Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, etc. However, later on in Shippuden you start to see more of characters like Gaara, and you can see how much they've developed mentally and physically.

I wish for some special episodes, where we can see something off Gaaras daily life :>

So I started to watch naruto on netflix and I fell in love with side characters and I'm so anoyed, because I know, they wont be in focus often, but i want to see more about them! LIKE DAMN! Show me Gaaras daily life! Or Kibas! Or Shinos! Who cares about Sasuke ;C
