i desperately want claude to regain his memories and just! be athy's dad!!!! everything hurts!!! but also? the side of him that's showing ever since he's lost his memories has somehow managed to be simultaneously heart-breaking and also... like... kind of funny...? especially when he interacts with felix. felix keeps pushing the "look at how much you love your daughter. LOOK AT HOW MUCH. you're treating her so badly right now but you are going to regret it as soon as you remember her" angle and claude is so done with it
(also... is it just me or is claude, like, extra hot recently... half my brain is crying for dad!claude and the other half is going "he looks really good in this panel though... and this one... and this one..." it's a very confusing mix of feelings to have and i am DYING.)
athy is SO strong though. i'm so proud of her. as much as i want her and claude to be a happy family again, i'm also really interested in seeing how she grows during this period of time. her life is a series of hurdles, some of which she passed through luck and timing and some of which she passed by having the right people at her side who wanted her to live or to succeed, and right now she is without her strongest backers. seeing what she can do alone is........ i don't want to say WORTH the amnesia, because that made me cry horrendously, but it will have me Forgive the amnesia
