I don't mind people believing. I mind when people preach at me. I used to be christian and it nearly cost me my life and one of my family members (who's homosexual). I would have commited suicide a long time ago if I kept believing in the christian god. I also find religion interesting but I WILL be outright terrible to religious people if they try to change my life, preach to me, or even convert me.
1. Jesus was born as a Jew (or of the race of God at the time) out of necessity. The messiah of the Jews must be born of the seed of David (who was a Jewish king) (John 7:42, Romans 1:3), but due to the misconception of the Jews that their messiah would reign for 1000 years, they rejected Jesus. 2. Old testament scripture is written from firsthand accounts, such as the books written by Moses on the exodus of the Children of Israel, or the visions of the prophets in later old testament books. 3. Actually, 2 Timothy 3:16 says that 'All scripture is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for conviction, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.' This is how we know the authors of the Bible were inspired by God. This is why over a period of 4000 years and 40 authors (with the distinctions between them being as large as between a king and fisherman), the Bible is cohesive and amazingly does not have a single contradiction. In the Bible God's purpose for man is revealed as well as hundreds of prophesies in the Old testament which have been fulfilled by Jesus, and those that are being fulfilled even up to this day. The most recent prophesy that has been fulfilled is regarding the 6 day war where Israel reclaimed their land. Isn't this amazing? So the Bible is 'God-breathed' so everything written of the Bible by the apostles after Jesus died is still cohesive and in line with what Jesus taught, because God is the author. I tried not to come across as passive-aggressive or anything like that, sorry if it seemed that way.
Say something new. Don't you think after 2000 years it needs at least an update?
With all that you said I can safely assume you're not here for yaoi, nope, not shounen ai, nope, not yuri, shoujo ai, hentai, ecchi etc etc. Which led me to question uhm what you were reading. So, I went to your home and saw your preferences anddddddd ... uhm... sooo I thought, what are your thoughts on yourself? Being able to preach the Bible and break your beliefs all the same. I mean, I don't mean offense really but just pure curiousity, is it like when you read you are accepting that you are going to be punished in the afterlife? Cause I don't see where you stand, you corrected them with your knowledge, but I didn't see any hostility from you towards the lgbtq+ community. Soooo, just can you explain to me what I want to be explained cause I can't seem to form words right now hehe sorry, sorry, I don't really mean this as an offensive approach I swear! Cause I read like tons and tons of bl. I have no problems with the lgbtq+ community. Just wanna hear your thoughts about this,
Leviticus 18:22
Do not practice homosexuality, having sex with another man as with a woman. It is a detestable sin.
