They were both rescue but the people told each one that the other was dead. The black hair thought the blond guy was dead and he was going to drown himself. The blond guy figures out in the end that the other wasn't dead so he went to the swamp

nope he didnt figure it out , he was going to suicide too , to be together with his beloved one again. its up to our imagination but i hope the both meet each other alive at the swamp.
