Well. I'm not saying that the extra is BAD because of the story... But people who generally don't read stuff like that because THEY don't like it or, even worse, stuff like that triggers them because of bad experiences they may have had in their life (practice what you seem to be preaching and don't judge them) would come into this manga with certain expectations and then they read something they don't like or something that leaves them feeling like shit. Not everyone wants "balance". The author could have just released the extra separately... That would have satisfied everyone reasonable I think.
Also just because they don't expect only "good shit" to be here that doesn't mean they WANT to read the darker stuff (which isn't bad if the story is well written, just darker and may trigger some people).
I know most of you guys don't enjoy the second story however I find it quiet balancing where the first one was sweet and cute while the second story was bitter sweet and a thriller... I know we all don't have the same preference, but ya gotta remember this yaoi, ya don't expect only good shit to be here..
