I really loved this series both in anime and manga form when I was younger. When I first saw Karin, I attributed her immediately to be sweet, gentle, and girly. Only the girly aspect sort of remained, and I liked her a lot for her loud, cheerful, and friendly temperament. Everything seemed so simple, but then and now, I have a single dissatisfaction: Adult men in this manga appear to be unnatractive. Their eyes ultimately shrink but their pupils still remain big, I'd have preferred it if they didn't shrink so much at least. So, to me, even if Micchi was popular with girls within that world, he wasn't all that attractive to scream about- he's still better looking than Kirio, though. When I grew older, I felt the little questions and thoughts that weren't asked by me before suddenly rise up from somewhere and into my mind.

1. It kind of felt like Kazune became nicer to Karin simply after finding out her true identity. It felt superficial to me that he would have been mean and rude to her (even more than he sometimes is to her occasionally) if she wasn't who they were looking for, and was a stranger. It's not that I wished he was superficially kind to her, but it would be great if he apologized for his prior rudeness at least (or maybe it's so ingrained in him that he just couldn't act any differrent, and only restrains with the people he considers "special"?)

2. Where ARE Karin's real parents?
To this, I formulated a reason as to why she wasn't sent to them by Professor Kujou: They're either already dead, or that they might suspect something with the child that looks very much like their daughter (who they will presume to be their grandchild), or that they pretty much didn't like Prof. Kujou at all and disregarded her as a member of their family. I don't know, I've no clues, so the closest hit would have to be that they're dead. This would lead to another question: who is the aunt Karin lives with? Suzuka's older sister? If she disliked Karin so much, why did she take her in? So she may someday benefit from her, as she appears childless? What was her opinion on when the Kujou family took in her "niece"? I can only presume she was happy to not need to take care of her.

3. We get more of the story when we look into the sequel, but just why did Prof. Kujou split Himeka up? How exactly did the other Himeka end up with the Karasuma siblings and why do they sort of look different? I understand why he did what he did to Suzuka (so mr. Former research partner won't find her), and why he created Kazune (To protect everyone in his stead. It's not like he can remake Kazune to be stronger, my guess is that when he came out as he was, that was it. No special tonics to make him stronger or anything.) . But Himeka's just a puzzle to me. This is my biggest question, honestly... and I can't even formulate any possible theories on this.

4. Did Prof. Kujou die, like his former partner in the research did? It seems so. How? By battling with each other? I can only assume that to be the case.

5. Who is the lady who sort of looks like Kazune? One may assume that she is Kazune's sister (and she probably is, at the very least she seems to be his relative) but then, what is her purpose in Prof. Kujou's research? And why does she turn into a bird?

I still cannot completely think of any sure answers, but I guess I might be taking this too far?
Ah, well. Whatever the case, this is my favorite series of Koge Donbo's work(the only series of hers that I like, because the others either seem sad or are simply left incomplete)
Those are my thoughts on Kamichama Karin as of present.

(Although yeah, when their eyes open wide, and in some drawings, Kirio and Micchi look pretty ok.)
