For some reason, it kind of ticked me off when in yaoi they said something to their partner like 'you're my wife' or something like that instead of 'husband'. Like, why? Your partner is a guy! I know they don't mean any harm or anything, but it just gives me the impression that there HAS to be a girl and a guy role in a gay relationship, even though they're both guys ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

    In some Asian countries people in homosexual relationship refer to themselves as wife and husband in place of bottom or top so maybe that's why
