No. They won't die in the end. Izumi will start again to play football. And he will tell koji his feeling like i love you with his eyes in tears. I think they make the final before developping the story. They will live happily together in the end.
I have seen the raws . I did not understand exactly what's happened .but I think that they will die in the end.
