seems like it was mentioned that she was "sick" for a fair amount of time which I assumed would have been how they covered it amongst the students but I'm wondering how they would be able to cover that with the birthing situation..
They said she was absent from school for quite some time and they just assumed she studied abroad

, if she wanted her child or not, if she took care of her health properly as a pregnant woman or not,
Her stomach can not grow as big and have this small as baby bump that make her look like she just got fat ar gained a bit of weight since she's a teenager nobody would jump straight to the 'she's pregnant'. It's just be so small that it's hardly noticeable,
If it's a normal birth not a c section or a premature birth. She is ready to go right after giving birth, so not much of resting at hospital she just leaves or more like running away with the kid without getting proper care, check ups, etc
and since she hid the whole thing to the people around her when she goes back shes just sick since they wouldn't assume (oh she just gave birth the other day so she's tired)
Anyway as long as she didn't register the baby there is no record of anything so nobody can find it out
I don't know about Japan but its like that in a lot of countries so abandoned babies which is to me one of the cruelest acts against humanity is pretty common

I know someone who gave birth and i had no I dea she was pregnant until one week before her delivery

true that must have been what most other people who saw her between carrying must have thought. Makes it worse with the fact how little her mother pays attention to her on the usual while she was carrying through all this:(
