The way the artist tells a story, with such simple yet powerful metaphors. I really loved that. Also that it was realistic, and all the characters uniquely flawed, and the ambiguity and uncertainty of everything. It’s a perfect capsule of adolescence.
The only thing against it is that story-wise, it’s a bit predictable. I tend to dislike reading about relationships I know are fated to fail. But that’s a matter of taste, and it was definitely essential to the story, so I can forgive it.
