I was reading the comments and re-read the manga once again. Yeah, I agree that Yuuji was really an asshole...but I think that everybody forgot about his character development. He was clear from the start what he wanted from this relationship...and I really feel sorry for Chika. But later, I think he started to learn what love & relationship means.
I think that there are many relationship like this in the world. I can't understand how can you love someone who treats you like a shit, but yeah, I've seen it with my own eyes...I only hope every realtionship with similar history ends like this. I want to believe that Yuuji will stay true to Chika and treasure him forever. I loved how Chika was being a little mean to show Yuuji like he was treated before (to teach him a lession).
Not all realtionship is healthy, and this manga shows the tragedy of it. I love the way Kawai Touko wants us to understand the feelings behind the characters, the way they change and realise whats important.
