'Stigma' - everything you're looking for. Mega abuse due to trauma and the dark side of life. Mafia, drugs, etc, involved as well. I give the artwork 7/10.
'Painter of the Night' is also a good one. I think seme's got a major trauma behind him.
I don't like seemingly pointless violence and abuse in BL, so I promise, both of these have very plausible scenes and reasons for violence.

I don't like pointless violence and abuse in BL neither, but I contradictory think it's important to show the ugliness of it. It gives people a glimpse of the nightmare. And the happy endings gives me hopes for myself. The feeling grows stronger when the story gets brutal. It's what I'm looking for atm (˘◡˘)
