Probably the young master. I mean he knows she starving from the mom and yeah he shielded her from that creep the emperor killed once but its obvious that hes not around all the time. They probably locked her up after all those whip marks so it's possible he might not have known but like is it really that far fetched for him not to think it happened? The creep came at her with a whip in the kitchen!! Like damn they can't even chill enough for her to eat and it's sad because the cook knew but still refused to feed her. So yeah I agree stupidity should be a crime like the emperor said to treat her with respect. And I know that they say that he is blood thirsty and kill hungry but if he planned to kill her would he have told them to correct how they handled her? If he had enough thoughts in his head he would've realized that shes better off with him then his abusive mother that starves her all the time!!
