I was reading this all over again and I just wanted to point out this when I was reading Yashiro’s past. People, if you can’t afford to give love to your adopted children, just don’t adopt them in the first place. These children came to you in order to feel love and they must have had high expectations to have a new “family”. If you think that you can’t treat them as your own blood-related child and pour them the love that they deserve, just don’t adopt them. You’re only destroying their idea of a family. They’ve already lost their family and they totally don’t need to lose them again. On the other hand, the parents at least provided him with a safe environment and ample amount of education as well as making him grow into such a fine man in the present day.

Pretty sure what happened was they couldn't seem to have a kid so adopted one but then had the so called "miracle" baby and then they feel stuck with the one they adopted is pretty common in upper class families as they wait till later to have kids but later it becomes harder to get prego so they go for alternative methods

It’s like why go through the extremely complicated and expensive adoption process and not actually care for them properly
