the first volume was lit af but i think the quality really degraded through the second half of the story. the uke's family seem like good-natured people. i think its a waste to not let us see the uke "reconcile" or get closer to his family. it was basically an unsolved problem. from what i read, the solution for the uke's angst (lol) was to depend on the seme, for the seme to be his so-called family as the seme is the one "who will always be there for him". but.. the uke's parents are there and willing to get closer to the uke. idk if it's just me. i just really felt bad for the uke and it hit close to home when the flashback about his parents reading his novel appeared. i just felt a great /pang/ in my heart.

i think it's a wasted opportunity for character development we have the seme being what seems like an ass at first but then we see that he's really not and he has struggles but face them head on. while here we have the uke who just,,, cries abt it? i mean he DID acknowledge his weakness in expressing himself but, he didn't work on it much? (he... he only expressed his feels to masa at the end lol) i just aaaa i just rlly wished to see the uke Grow up more (because cough he was honestly a bit annoying for me and too shojo ish) so i reallyyyy wanted him to resolve his struggle with his family and i wanted him to be truly happy with his bf. and thus, for him to let his boyf be the main lead to his book gdi let him do his dream role >:U

i had no hopes for the seme's parents lol uke's parents were lacking but still can be nicer the seme's were just plain sht lmao go seme u dont need to depend on their sustenance you are rich by yourself lol

((also!!! lowkey wished for a scene where the uke stands up for the seme against seme's fam lol why am i wishing for so much??? on a complete work )
