Still, he did say "no", but I think you are over simplifying the beginning.
I agree that I made it simple and compressed but that was the point since I wasn't planning on writing an essay about the entire thing. It was just kinda like the main points and I'd understand if some people misunderstood what I said cause I didn't explain exactly in depth. I would've explained myself fully but I just chose not too lol sorry if you misunderstood. I actually understand the story 100% I'm just not up to giving full details on it
oh but you are speaking about the plot which I think everyone knew which is why I didn't feel the need to add it in cause its pretty understandable and noticeable that he had problems coming out for being a gay cause of his father and aiming for a straight so he wouldn't hope for more (no strings attached) so yeah no I ain't oversimplifying the beginning I just didn't feel the need to state full details of the entire story
the rape was probably a bit too much but because our dear uke is a super masochist I think from his perspective (later on after he started the brand) he enjoys the punishments this time around cause lets face it in the beginning he fell in love, confessed, got raped and ran away. Then rapist realizes his feelings after, chases after uke, makes things right (well tries to) and boom a somewhat happy ending. Even tho there are parts missing that were hard to portray and some was difficult to understand I wholeheartedly love this manga more than I thought I would've and not just cause it had smut.
