Cats are jerks

Some cats are just a trial. I moved to a really hot place where if I leave butter out so it's spreadable it sometimes actually melts. So for Christmas I got a butter boat. The thing you put the butter in rests in a larger container that you put water in so the butter is kept cool by the evaporation of the water. Our problem cat discovered the love of butter so I tied the lid on. This morning I was woken up by a crash. She had pushed the butter boat off the counter and broke it to get at the butter. If it was just a passion for butter I would be more understanding but the little bitch just likes knocking stuff off the counters when she's bored. She's deaf so loud noises have never bothered her though usually we're more careful and it's non-breakables she knocks off. It scares the shit out of the other cat though. I moved in with my brother a year ago and this is the third thing she's broken. Last time it was my favorite mug. I guess after six months we get complacent.

Cats just do that cause they’re dumb don’t let them go to those places and find ways to keep them away from them by training other wise they’re sweet

I looked it up and while it is possible to train an older deaf cat (Desi is twelve) I'm not really the kind of person who is good at training animals. I tend to be trained by the cats rather than the other way around.

You’re problem ain’t gonna be fixed then but put salt around the items or every time they do something smack them not to hard or to soft or yell at them that’ll train them, it’s not abuse but if you do it like the cat mocked over some books you pick him up and smack him not to much to hurt or to soft and it’ll get them to stop eventually once they learn don’t do it near the head or stomach
