The fortune teller alluded to it. Nadan is a "nice" guy. He simply can't stomach doing any sort of bad thing even if it achieves beneficial ends. Even though Nadan (because of his family ties) is a wanted man and would have been beheaded long ago if not for Suu, he still can't accept the methods Suu has been using to protect him.
I think long ago when they were kids, Nadan was Suu's protector and he liked being that, the "protector". When Suu took over the role of being the protector, it was something Nadan could not stomach. He likes to be the one who looks after others, not being the one looked after.
He and Suu are simply a doomed affair.
Yup. He'd be dead if not for Suu. If Jin hadn't forced Suu to take care of the dragon, then the Consort would not have framed Nadan. Blaming Suu is silly.
It was not Suu's plan to get stuck babysitting a baby dragon. He has been trying to get back to the harem because he knew Nadan would be in danger if he didn't, but he couldn't.
Suu had to do favors for the consort to get Nadan protected. He never intended to work for the Crown Prince.
Okay, so like what the hell is up with Nadan and his attitude? I mean like I get that weird shit is going on and he has the right to be suspicious, but why the hell is he acting like everything is Suu’s fault? Like what, am I missing something here? I don’t want to hate Nadan and I get that Suu can act smarmy and suspicious, but why is he being so frickn ungrateful? Like Suu is trying to make it so that they could leave together the whole time and Nadan is a cold frickn asshole. Please someone, am I missing something big when it comes to Nadan’s attitude? Is it striking anyone else as shitty?
