I agree. Emperor certainly has his own demons to fight off which may have been a factor it his actions. In this situation only someone that is evil or emotionally disturbed would do such a thing. And it is made quite clear that he is not evil.

I know everyone's upset over the male lead. And I understand completely. However, I think we should look at it this way: That guy has some SERIOUS mental issues. I think he's not quite right in the head. Honest to God! I mean, who sells their crush because they're crushing on them? Does that make any sense to anyone? This might just be a story about mental illness and personality disorders!
