I wish they would have revealed their trauma to each other, it feels short of incomplete.

I agree! I reread this because I forgot most of it but that is the one thing that always bothered me is they never explained their trauma how they got the way they did.

My interpretation as to why they didnt say anything is because that part of their lives is over the past is the past.
