on a serious note, this manga is slowly climbing its way up to be one of my most fav bl mangas out there (and there’s really a few of them, mind you). i was on the edge of my bed waiting for the truth about tamaki’s family situation to be revealed (i thought he was being sexually abused or smth) but it was still heartbreaking to know that shii is the only part of his childhood that can be considered a happy one... i’m just glad his mom got her shit together in the end (but damn that was not something to subject your son into you hag you don’t attract your clients using him oh my lord)
anyways shii is such a sweetheart and tamaki is so pretty! shii pretty much portrays what it’s actually like to have a crush of the same gender, and i love how bold and how exasperated he is to make tamaki love him, while not encroaching any boundaries and giving tamaki the appropriate space. i also love how tamaki has no problem with the affectionate gestures and touches shii gave before the confession, and i especially love the mundane, slife of life esque moments between them! i hope tamaki gets to overcome his predicament and find strength and even though this looks like it’s gonna be a slow burn, i’m gonna enjoy how it’s all gonna turn out, and the ending will sure be much sweeter when it comes!
