I agree with you on the lack of plot, but also think the use of shading,in this case helps propel the emotions in the story. Allowing the reader to infer certain emotion with out much given plot. Without it the explosive rage,wouldn't have been so striking. I actually feel this is main reason I come back to this story.The subtle details like this from the mangaka. I would have loved to see this story continued.
... There wasn't a whole lot of structure and the plot felt empty, but there was passion and good art to make up for it. The ending wasn't very good, but the explosive emotion of rage was excellent. This story sort of balanced it's pros and cons out to the break even point.
