I think because it is so unrealistic to not take it too seriously because it doesn't even take itself seriously. Yaoi is fantasy just like those porn novels, they aren't real. Rape shouldn't be glorified, but honestly this author should be able to make whatever story she wants it's not hurting anyone and most people can discern between reality and fiction.
