Honestly this was very much psychological and both relationships were twisted in their own right.
I really disliked the manipulative and possessive nature and actions of his boyfriend. That guy controlled the big brother with verbal abuse and guilt, not to mention he didn’t regret his actions. What an asshole. Forcing him to choose family over him, disgusting! And he has a shitty personality that I would have kicked to the curb ages ago.
The uke was WAY too passive. He was curious, which is fine, but took someone else’s man so his character wasn’t the best either. Those two’s relationship seemed shallow and devoid of true feelings but more like codependence. The big bro not showing his ring is just as crushing as him moving on with no concern for little bro.
The little brother was the victim here. He was trying to conceal his feelings but was outed by the asshole. Had big bro been a good man he should have just told him that he doesn’t feel the same. Honestly, I think little bro would have treated him so much better. I really felt bad for the guy. Your first contact with another that means so much to you ending so tragically messed up, this will likely taint his vision of relationships in the future. You can see he still hurts.
