Personally, I like this development because he seems to be more vulnerable to the darker side of his affections for Yuan Chu. The guy has been giving me yandere vibes since the 'gay clam' incident and this amnesia stint did nothing to wipe out his possessiveness and strong desire to monopolize the female lead. I'm gonna have fun watching him struggle to keep his murderous intent in check whenever something or someone gets between him and his master.
