I like the idea that even in a different universe where there are expected gender pairings, the ones that aren’t socially accepted happen as well and are valid. Like a simile with homosexual relationships I guess ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
I know it’s all up to the creative freedom of the authors but I like the idea of unconventional situations within every universe I read about
Yes and no. Well I am actually really happy for the twist since it seems to be going the “bitching” route, alpha x alpha stories are completely different. I love abo, I am a huge omegaverse consumer. But sometimes I like to switch it up. I like to read all sorts of pairings. Two omega in heat who can never really satisfy each other but try their darnedest anyway. I like reading things with beta. And also Alpha/Alpha. The allure of Alpha/Alpha is that they’re primal. They fight for dominance both in and out of the bedroom often switching places as uke and seem because neither of them want to “sumbit” it goes against their nature. A lot of people probably read the title and the tag and that was the kinda of story they wanted. So it can be frustrating when tags aren’t accurate. It’s like if I wanted to read a book about cats and it ended up being about dogs instead. Sure they’re both pets but I was really feeling cats today and that’s why I clicked.
Well, i can understand your opinion. In my case, I don't like the pairing alpha x alpha cause I love the concept of pheromones, blushing face, mate, mark etc. So when I read an omegaverse where the couple turn out to be alpha, I feel upset. Even my friends, sisters. XD We really don't look for the originality if it's a well right story we can enjoy ^^
I get that. But that’s why things are tagged. I LOVE the whole pheromone, mate aspect too. I am just explaining WHY some people don’t like the way the story turned out. The read a alpha/alpha tag and got alpha/pseudo!omega. I would be mad to if I expected one thing an got another that’s false advertising. It’s great you enjoy it, but it should have been tagged properly. Just like you said YOU feel upset when you go to read a story about an alpha and an omega and they both turn out to be alphas these people are upset for the reverse. They came to read two alphas and got an alpha and an omega. Basically the same thing you experienced they are experiencing. You asked why they are upset and I am just explain. It isn’t an opinion. And opinion would be me saying “I prefer omega/omega fics.” I am say people feel swindled. Feelings =/= opinions. I respect your opinion that you prefer alpha/omega pairings.

Can someone explain to me why everybody is upset over the plot twist? I mean we're reading an omegaverse, we read it for the pregnancy, heat, etc. Would it juste be a normal typical story if it's juste an alpha x alpha?
