So This story is incomprehensible. If I were to try my best at understanding this plot, I would probably assume that everything after the prologue is the Mc's delusions. I know that the definition of megalomaniac is someone who has delusions of grandeur. So I assume that the mc is going through some sort of delusions, possibly as a dream possibly he has been put on meds at some sort of facility or something.
