Interesting that you mention ml is not great character. I found it refresh that he able do two face role not like common cold heart or bad guy.

Yep its long but its really worth it not every Female lead need to me smart or wicked one of the most original u never know what she is going to do next and the wolf king too its cute whenever he is holding his self back

I actually have no problem with the ml in the story. The wolf king and puppy king acts are both parts of himself, he's simply showing her the part that won't scare her, because it was difficult for her to deal with the "wolf king" from the beginning.
Also, he's a king. There are things he can't tell her, things she definitely wouldn't be able to handle, and I don't think she needs to know about government affairs because it is literally not her job. The only thing he's keeping from her is the wolf king - puppy king thing, and he does have good reason, at that point in the story they're not even a 'couple' as the story is still progressing. I do think he trusts her, he shows a part of himself to her that only his closest aids are allowed to see. Even if she's supposed to keep quiet about it for work and she partially misunderstood, its still huge.
My problem is that she is too naive and stubborn. I get that it moves the story along, but that part was irritating. The most obvious part was the conflict between the Han and Ryuu families. She knew they were in a dispute and she was the kings consort, not long after they appeared in front of her, she went to the Han family and stayed there for days. She was visiting the only friend she had there, but she had to be told chapters later that it was causing an issue. After knowing people would try to kill her and curry favor to be on the King's good side how did she not realize that was a terrible idea?

I'm on chapter 35 and I've already had enough. 40 more chapters of this? I can't deal with this. She cries every chapter, she's naive, foolish, and does things without thinking about the consequences of her actions.
She has a one tracked mindset that isn't even on the brink of being good anymore, at this point she just looks dumb. I also hate how the male lead hides everything from her while she knows nothing. A relationship needs to be built on trust. They clearly don't have that when he lies straight to her face everyday.
It isn't even close to romantic either with the amount of times she's cried while he just found it "amusing". Judging from the comments below, apparently a female love rival is here. Not that this is the first time the male lead has been surrounded by females... this is just plain annoying.
Will there even be any character development? I hate the way the female lead lashes out so immaturely like a child every fucking chapter. Like how long are you gonna cry for? She's dramatic and overreacts. The male lead is hardly any good of a character either..
