The great yakuza badass boss would be the great one that matches well with Yoshino, or the kickass guy from normal world, but not Kirishima. If you're the boss, you have both brain and skills, also knowing how to use people, not use yourself to do dirty and low jobs, like fuck the prostitutes, bunch of loose women to use them and got information, or having steady sex friends to fuck when he wants. That's more like the character for the royal underling, can't be someone at the same level as Yoshino. Yoshino loves Shouma as family and that kind of bond is very strong with her. Too bad eh? No love rivals, no one at all will compete with Kirishima at all. Author san bias is Kirishima lol
Honestly if Kirishima didn’t sleep around, he would be the perfect yakuza-but not an actually yakuza- husband.I get that in the yakuza it is normal (or at least portrayed in this world) to have multiple sexual and/or romantic relations. But Yoshino is not about that life. Loyal monogamy is her deal and what she needs and wants for her future. If he seriously stopped sleeping around and flirting..... legit he would be such a catch.... besides all that killing and violence. In that world though, it would mesh well with Yoshino. They would make a great couple.... if he got his shit together and realize that no... her being mad at him for getting with women is not cool.
I just can’t wait for it to connect in that messed up brain of his, that if he wants to even have a chance with her, he needs to stop that ish real quick. Because I refuse to get invested in this story just for her to like him and he keeps sleeping around. I love Yoshino and how much a strong lead she is. I want her to stick to her morals and values. Until she sees true change, Kirishima is not even a thought for marriage material. Just someone to get along with and become friends with until the year is over. This story is so freaking good that if it turns lopsided like so mangas I’ve read.... I’ll be hella disappointed.
Don’t go the easy route author!!!! He must change or give her Shouma! She deserves the best and her standards should not falter. Thank you for coming to my TED talk.
