It's anime, common sense is not really a thing there
So called adults in manga are often people in their early twenties so honestly I don't think it's completely unbelievable for someone to act like that.
How do you write a grown male character (or literally any grown character) and have his main characteristics be teenage shoujo manga. Crushing on the nephew of his crush from high school. Crying in the middle of important school/job related meetings and telling students because you're so flustered that you have a crush on said student. Did not even try to clear up the misunderstanding.This man is a mess, but I am invested so I will unhappily read till the end. ╮(￣▽￣)╭
