It makes sense that he is a lot more cruel now compared to how he was when he was first summoned, looked like he used to be very timid and naive. 10 years of his life was spent in a foreign world away from his family and friends, it doesn’t help that he is surrounded by the so called “comrades” who used him as a punching bag mostly ( I mean nobody enjoys being used like that ヽ(`Д´)ﾉ). Imagine living with such people for 10 yrs, of course his anger must have piled up and ended up taking his revenge. The so called goddess should have just returned him back regardless of his ‘failure’ (╬￣皿￣)凸 But now that he is stuck, maybe it would be better for him to just settle down in the fantasy world, live peacefully and become friends with the demon king since it doesn’t look like he will pass according to the standards of the goddess... ╮(￣▽￣)╭
