Well, you can find your manga easier by adding tags to it. The tags you added will show on your homepage and from there you will have access to your mangas faster.
Also by clicking on the tags you can find other mangas with similar setting/story

You can do that by creating lists and adding the mangas, but I don’t have patience for that, so I just tag it when I finish reading

yk when you save a book to "want to read", "reading" and "already read"?? Theres those hashtags in the middle of those 3 options and "confirm"?? Is there an particular use from them?
