I'm glad no one is fooled by the Disney version of the story! Their version is completely unrealistic and just a marketing ploy to reel in the young, impressionable children who don't know any better. Bleargh!

    That's because Disney is an animation company with families as their majority of target audience, so of course their version is family-friendly.

    From what I remember, the Chinese Cinderella is like almost like a millennium old. In that version, it's the fish the main lead feeds from young that helps her in magically dressing up or something. But in there, like Disney she was so kind to the point of forgiving her wrong doers.
