I totally agree with you! You’d think there would at least be a scene of either him properly rejecting that interloper or of him formally marrying (or at least propposing or something) to Julia.
The manga is a condensed version of the book so the book probably has everything in it.
Wtfff its like the author neared the end and was like "meh dont wanna do this anymore" to say its rushed is an understatment
