The creator of the manhwa gets paid through people paying to read. Reuploads on mangago take the money out of the pocket of the creator. That’s why a lot of times reuploaders add notes to support the creators if possible. If they don’t get supporters the manhwas may be discontinued because of a lack of funding.
Finally, some sense. The illegal readers here are stupid as fuck! It’s like a thief robbing an ice cream and then not understanding that by stealing the ice cream, the store owner is trying to sell, the store owner can’t fucking make money and will have to close the damn store. Like come on. You guys know you are reading illegally and it’s wrong. At least don’t be so shameless as to pretend you don’t know why it’s wrong or argue that it’s somehow not wrong.
no i understand that we are all reading illegally, but it always seems like uploaders mainly do not want it on mangago, i’m generally curious what it is like on the other manga websites as i only use this one consistently. but in a way aren’t the authors also losing money when people translate the work?
Mangago is a much bigger platform compared to other websites in my own opinion, so its not shocking they find out that their work had been illegally reuploaded or translated here.
It depends on what platform its been translated and uploaded on, some may have the permission from the company or the artist themselves.

why do uploaders dislike when someone reuploads on mangago? (also anyone know any other good websites to read on?)
