suing internationally is very complicated and needs lawyers that can handle it. Every country has its own copyright laws and the battle lies on which country is "right". Maybe the author is rich, but suing would be very expensive. If anything, the author can file a cease and desist letter, which most follow. not sure if that's helpful. ┑(￣Д ￣)┍
