I love how this manhwa presented the plot! I love when shows/anime/dramas/books make you root or feel sympathy for the person who is a bad guy/who made bad choices. This manhwa did it beautifully, to the point where I started preparing myself for Khaol and River to be together, even though I really wanted Heil/River. And, Khaol is a jerkass, absolutely, but he's not obnoxiously evil like Lari, and that just makes it even better. I'm still kinda rooting for him to change his ways, to make reparations toward the Candor family and I really hope that is part of his character development. I'm extremely excited to read the rest of the chapters.
I love, love, love the sibling relationship in this manhwa but one thing I really wish we had seen was more of River talking to his Nana after becoming the groom. She must have been so lonely in that house since he was spending so much time with Khaol. And it was so heartbreaking when she passed away thinking it was partly her fault he had disappeared. I just feel bad for this woman.
I also hope we see more of Ilya, I really like his character (and his cute little ponytail!). Does anyone know why he gave his tongue to Heil?
