I was just reccing this on the main page and read your comment. If I remember, Oku-sensei said he wanted to draw a manga that sells. And manga that sells involves sex and violence. Hence those covers.
Agreed. The story was great but I dropped it too. For me it will be so much better with no romance in it. Its like a waste of panels. Im just here for the ending.
I really like gantz. But the sexualized and objectified drawings of female on the first page of almost EVERY FUCKING CHAPTER turns me off. It's disgusting and detracts from the story
