(I can't read the raws so take this with a grain of salt).
Basically they win the horse competition and the ML asks for something crazy (judging by everyone's reaction). I think since it was just revealed in this chapter the original hero will return because the twins asked for it, that the ML asks for it instead.
They have some sort of ball after where ML and FL dance together and he announces something but she doesn't seem to accept (I think he professes his love maybe, but she says no). ML gets angry and drags her into another room. They have some sorta back and forth where she cries (like usual) and he goes straight up yandere and tries to stab himself with a dagger. She wrestles it out of his hands and then reveals to him the reason why she can't be with him is because she has the soulmark and then shows him.
Her father and sister come in and they have a back and forth with ML. ML and FL eventually leave hand in hand together. This is the end of the first season and we have to wait for the second.
