I understand the guy's thinking. I met my now husband online. He was over 10 hours away (that's driving distance). But you know, it might be tough, etc, etc but if you truly truly love someone even the distance won't tear you apart. I was in the long distance like that for about a year or so. Then, he came to live near where I was going to college. Yup, he moved for me. We'll be married for 10 years in July 2014. So, yes long distance isn't easy, but no relationship is.
