Honestly agree with this. The only reason I even finished reading this was because I can't not finish a story once I've started it. Pissed me off how the plot has so many holes in it, and we as readers are supposed to just take it.

All of these types of stories are just short manga forms of actual books just like a movie adapted from a book it always leaves stuff out or changes things trust me a lot of these stories I've read the actual book and most of these hugely tone down how much of an ahole the ML is in the actual story but a rare few exaggerate how cruel the ML was to the point that it might as well not even be the same person XD
might not have been in the right frame of mind to read and enjoy this one as it just seemed messy, slap dash and frustrating. the FL gets mad at the ML for, among other things, never taking her thoughts, opinions and desires into consideration. at no point do i see this part of him change nor do i see the FL reconcile with herself that this is who he is and accept it. she doesnt like her engagement ring but he forces it onto her finger anyway, he refuses to even confide in her when taking her to meet either royal family. simply tells her that its her duty to attend the visit or meal and just throws her in with the sharks as she has no warning on whats about to happen when he seems to know, in the case of his parents, or suspect, in the case of other king (forgot his name and dont want to give too much of the plot away) ML explains what happened all those years ago but it doesnt give off a feeling of him earning her forgiveness as it just focuses on him. she hasnt accepted his apology simply cries and hugs him as if all is fine and she was never hurt! he then explains his bad image in press and... fine i guess. but he then explains how he tried to find her. like excuse me? in first few pages you reveal your wealth and status. finding a woman who was NOT hiding from you and had told you her real information, i.e. her name, college and other miscellaneous things about herself like how she lives in New Orleans... how could you NOT find her????? she then seems to forgive him because he cares about their son. geez the guy that forces you to marry to get their son actually cares about their son!!! will wonders never cease! then the climax happens and i very much approve of her reaction to it, but then he goes up to her confesses and so naturally everything is fine. im sorry but he broke his promise to protect and you dont express even the smallest of doubts that hell keep it this time round??? why???? what are you basing this on???? in the end i was more invested in the poor princess who was used than in the FL and ML story! and she probably only got like 3 lines!!!! (╬￣皿￣)
im sorry for the huge rant but its midnight and i cant risk waking anyone up by vocalising my frustration with this story. despite all of this its not the worst ive read but it is really close to the bottom for me. the novel might have been better but im not gonna look it up. id still advise others to read this as its only a chapter and they can make up their own minds about it, and as i said at the start i wasnt really in the mood for them to be this annoying so my tolerance was much lower than it could have been. all in all, im probably not gonna re read this one. ╮(￣▽￣)╭
