Err guys, a little help here. I was too caught up with college’s stuff for these past few months and seems that it’s a quarantine order rn in my area, i decided to pick up this one again but I’m a bit confused and safe to say that completely forget everything? Lol so pls anyone with the kind soul pls enlighten me -

1. Why did Feilong hold a grudge over Asami? Isn’t Feilong in love with Asami and they even were together back then right?

2. What makes Asami can’t accept Feilong again in his life? Gosh Feilong is such a gorgeous man tbh kyaaa!

3. Did Mikhail in love with Feilong? Are the two together now?

That’s all for now. Thank you everyone in advance!

That's quite a lot for someone to explain lol, why not just read it all and it will be clear? (Genuine Question)

    1. Read Vol. 2. It's only 4 chapters.
    2. See above
    3. If you've read this manga at all and know who Mikhail is then that's the answer. It's his whole plot point.

I like how you say you ''decided to pick this up again'' and then you proceed to ask for a summary from other readers. The whole world is in quarantine right now, read it again, it's not like you/we have anything better to do.

Okay. I'll do it. But a lot of this is open to interpretation. Here's mine:

    1. Fei Long believed that Asami betrayed him, killed his father, and conspired to let his bio father shoot him. That's the outer reason he held a grudge. But the inner reason is that yes, Fei Long loves Asami and Asami doesn't return his feelings. They were never "together." They had a brief business partners with benefits relationship that fell apart when Fei Long's bio dad tried to kill him.

    2. According to Yamane Ayano, Asami just wanted to be friends with Fei Long. He even tells Fei Long that he's not his type. Later on, Fei Long comes to understand that Asami wanted someone who was not part of their world (ie Akihito.) Why he doesn't want to accept Fei Long in his life now? If someone kidnapped and raped your boyfriend, would you want them in your life?

    3. That's the one that's open to interpretation. They're not "together" yet. Have to wait and see if they will be.

To your 2. Akihito also wants his rapist as his lover, so that is not really logical answer in this manga. The reason is simple. Just like you said, Asami wants someone not from the underworld. Also I bet Fei is too emotionally complicated for him... Business partners though? Easily. YA hinted at that now several times in the last volume.

He doesn't want Fei Long in his life for the simple reason that he knows Fei has romantic feelings toward him, which as he rightfully stated when they first met, would unnecessarily complicate matters.

That wasn't the question. The question was why doesn't Asami want Fei Long in his life (as though just being gorgeous is all that matters.) If Fei Long holds a grudge against Asami for whatever reason, Asami also has reasons to dislike Fei Long, primarily among them the fact that Fei Long kidnapped and raped Akihito. What Akihito feels about Asami has nothing to do with how Asami feels about Fei Long.

I think you forget the threesome plot. Asami let Aki do the “job” for Feilong after Feilong clearly rejected the service from Aki, so how much do Asami care about the thing as you said, sorry but I'm skeptical.

Yes of course, but I think it somehow reflects the character's characteristics. I admit that Asami is not in love with Feilong but just about the reason "kidnapped" I was like emmmmmm, anyway it's alright people often have different opinions.

2 There is no indication that their agreement to set up mutual trading routes back when they met in the Flower in the loft ever ended When Mikhail enters the dealings on the ship to get Takaba back he implies he does not like how close Asami and Fei are part of that is those routes. They are in each others lives and will always be so. they don't have to be in sight of each other. to keep tabs. ( spoiler for the present) Feilong knew Asami was in trouble when he arrived in H.k saying it's not like him to leave himself open. Asami comes to H.k seeking answers but he's also have gone knowing Fei can back him up.If Feilong was in trouble like this and his back was against the wall he would chose Asami's for higher ground. Feilong never got any real approval nor love from his family, he got that from Asami some one shown he cared I think Fei confused that and what he felt for Asami as love what he was seeking was Asami's sight . approval. a sub father not a lover.

Are you up to date but just confused about the storyline?
    1) Fei held a grudge because he believed for years that Asami betrayed his trust, killed his father, shot his sleazy bro and pretty much ruined his life. That's more than a good enough reason to hate someone.

    2) Can't accept Feilong in his life -again-? I'm not sure what point in the story you mean. Do you mean can't accept his feelings on a romantic level, or doesn't want to work with him at all in business?
*Regarding the romance: Firstly, just because someone is gorgeous it doesn't mean you would automatically want to be with them...
Asami's thoughts are difficult to understand. He likes his partners... more feeble and weaker than himself. Vulnerable people turn him on.
Feilong is none of those things, and isn't 'Asami's type'.

*Regarding the everything else: Their relationship is complicated for lots of reasons. Asami has a hectic life, therefore probably wants to limit the amount of complications in his life to a minimum. So he keeps Fei at an arms length.
    >Obviously, before and after Naked Truth, Asami has different reasons/motivations for not wanting Feilong near him.
    >>Before Naked Truth, Feilong hated him to the bone for what the disaster 7 years ago. Until the incident on the casino ship, they were full blown enemies.
    >>After Naked Truth, there is of course some bad blood with the kidnapping of Akhihito. But they are more or less aquaintances/allies. Any misunderstandings have been cleared, now they both have seperate lives. Like Luffy said up there, Asami knows Feilong has romantic feelings so he would probably rather keep their contact to a minimum. I suppose he doesn't want Feilong to get any wrong ideas.

    3) Mikhail has very strong romantic feelings for Feilong. It's quite plain to see even in Mikhail's early appearances. Whether they become 'official' depends on Feilong.

Regarding your #2, I submit exhibit A- Fei didn't hate Asami to the bone for 7 years and his motivation for doing what he did had nothing to do with the disaster from the past: http://www.mangago.me/read-manga/you_re_my_loveprize_in_viewfinder/mh/v05/c025/22/

If you want to make someone 'yours' then surely there's better ways to do so than to 1) kill his business partner 2) shoot him in the leg 3) kidnap and rape his lover 4) etc
    ...Right?

What was the point of the who Naked Truth fiasco? Did Feilong lure Asami to the ship, hoping to capture him and keep him as a sex slave in his basement???

Either Fei is a dumbass, or this is bad writing. I'm going with a mix of both.

Hey! Killing the business partner, shooting them in non-vital areas, and kidnapping & raping their lover is the way those underworld guys show affection. I wholeheartedly approve.

In NT, Fei's original intention was to get Asami's attention because, after all, negative attention is better than no attention, but the situation spiraled out of control after that. Fei admitted he shot Asami on impulse and felt "wretched" about it later. Fei had Asami come to the ship (Fei's home advantage) just to get his deed back. The trade would've gone smoothly had Mikhail not interfered.

Besides, who *hasn't* done dumbass things in their life?

why did Feilong come to Jap in the N.T arc he came after Chou who had messed up a very important deal for him. Chou sought help from Asami, which he got, Feilong takes Takato and kou uses them to get Takaba to get info out of Asami. He gives up to save his friends. Chou winds up dead bec, he did not listen to instructions and ran. Takaba tells Asami what he did. he tells Takaba he will take him into the abyss. well he was suppose to go and be with his friends instead he goes to track down Fei and gets kidnapped.

To your 2. I don't think Asami is only attracted to "weaker" and "feeble" partners and is turned on by vulnerable people and that's why he liked Akihito over Feilong. Actually, what made Asami attracted to AKI in the first place is his bold behavior. He gets to know him because Aki messed up with his business and all Asami wanted at first was to punish him (it seems that's what he constantly does with nosy people). But AKI surprised him by escaping in a brave manner and Asami got all excited by the challenge of "submitting" the bold little brat AKI was and teaching him a lesson he won't forget. He said in Ch1: "I think I would like to play with him a bit more. It makes my heart pound like I was hunting a wild animal". AKI is "wild" in the regard of Asami and that's why he turns him on. Although he is "weak" in a certain manner, he actually never surrenders to Asami. He fights back, insults Asami all the time (calling him old, criminal, jerk, asshole xD) and "pretend" not to like being embraced by him. He is the definition of WILD. And Asami is not used to someone like him in his surroundings. Another evidence that Asami does not like vulnerable partners was that scene in Ch4 or something when Aki gets on his knees begging Asami to help him save his friends from Feilong's trap. Watching Aki in that begging position got Asami angry and he immediately told him to stand up and stop begging that way while he could just use his brain to find a solution. He actually hates weak people who rely on others. He does not have any respect for them. Also, if Aki's bold behavior is what makes Asami interested in Aki at first, I think it's when he finds out how Aki was loyal, honest and quite naive that he really wanted to keep him by his side no matter what. One day AKI asked Asami what makes him know how he can trust people. Asami then replied : "One look and I can tell". Aki asked " What about me?". Asami said: "There are very few people like you who show all their thoughts so openly". Asami can trust Akihito. Although Aki is a brat, makes stupid decisions and is always conflicted by the fact of sharing his life with a damn gangster (which makes him run away "from home" all the time), Asami knows he can fully trust him because he is the most loyal and honest person he knows. And Aki proves Asami was right to trust him many times like the one when he brought back that stupid criminal guy to Asami before taking him to the Police 'cause he was scared the guy would reveal some secrets about Asami and put him into trouble. In the last chapters, it's even more visible how they both fully and blindly trust each other since they are now more comfortable with their feelings and none of them wants to be parted from the other (except for protection purposes). They both risked their life to save the other one with no hesitation at all. Asami is also amused by the naive side of Aki but not necessary the weak part. He always warns him and gives him advice to overcome his reckless behavior but Aki never listens. Which makes Asami giving up most of the time, lol. Though he always bother saving his ass at the end. What I like the most is that Aki is disrupting Asami's life in all ways possible. It took Asami's quite a time to ajust but he fully embraced his new life with AKi, sharing a flat together and being forced to deal with some stupid decisions Aki makes from time to time. The chapter where we see how Aki took over Asami's flat with all his stuff, filling the fridge with tons of food, putting cute toys in the bathroom, and forcing Asami to watch horror movies at nigh was hilarious. Anyway, Asami liked Aki for different reasons. First as an exciting challenge, then as a piece of property and now as a full partner and lover. None of them was due to the fact Aki was considered weak or vulnerable. That's my own interpretation though^^

    1) Feilong has plenty of responsibility for the shit that went down but likes to blame other people for his mistakes. He ignored Asami's advice and acted foolishly.

    2) Yah, reread the first chapter to see what attracted Asami to Takaba. But you won't because like the fox in tales of yore, you're invested in believing that Asami's regard isn't worth having because he didn't pick your boy.

Also, you are seriously confused on the timeline and the story because up until the last chapters, Asami and Feilong were never allies. This arc made it explicit that nothing had been cleared up between them. That was all headcanon. But guess what? Y'all was wrong! And Feilong drugged Asami to get him out of the way so he could work on his own. (Another stupid foolish move on his part but who's counting?) These are not allies. Seriously, what manga are you reading?

    3) Mikhail wants to fuck Feilong and he got what he wanted in the least romantic transactional fuck ever fucked in a yaoi.

Drugging Asami to work on his own to what end? There have been a few shall we say lets than bright moments in this arc. Asami admits to taking his eyes off of Sudo which let him get ahead in this plot. When Feilong gave Asami the sleeping tea he was injured from that fight and in no shape to take on a flea. Allies? they had just came from a battle in which they saved each other many times they were sitting down in Feilong's living room talking about what to do with the Russians .Non allies don't do that.

In recent chapters, Asami didn't really dislike Feilong. He saved Fei and was literally worried about him, and Fei saved him as well. Just because you hate him because he raped Akihito, doesn't mean Asami hates him as well. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭ It's clear that YA tries to finally bury that fight between them... Asami never killed Fei for hurting Akihito. At least he knows he would be a full hypocrite like that.
