Ibe is pretty dense but she never said she loves the ML. She only felt bad for him and treats him like a younger brother.
I get that but she's from modern times, not those archaic times. Why has she suddenly fallen into following the caste system she never grew up with? Further, why is it she couldn't read their language? This story's so messed up, I think I'm going to have to be like some others here and wait til it's done and read the final chapter and skip all this waffling BS.
First, I agree with you. Ibe is pretty stupid in that she's basically has zero awareness. I was just correcting you by saying she's not in love with the male lead.
However, I don't think you understand the premise of this story.
For you question as to why she's in a caste system she didn't grow up in and why she can't read the language: she's literally from another world, not just the modern world. She got sucked into a novel she was reading all of a sudden.
But yeah, this story isn't great in terms of characters having logic or whatever.
Ah... Hm. OK - It's just weird that an other-worlder would know more about the caste system and noble/commoner rules than a born-and-bred Duke in that world. Also, I guess I got used to Isekai stories where the character enters another world and has "cheats" like item boxes, understands the language, and tends to be smarter than the "locals". OK - but I still think I'm going to have to wait until the story is complete before I read again because the frustration just keeps reviving every time I reread with new releases. :)
I love this story, don't get me wrong, but just how stupid is this female lead??? First, she claims she loves the ML from the very beginning, but then can't understand the ML's jealousy when he first saw the interactions between FL and Lorenzo? There's a limit to stupidity, there HAS to be - this is so frustrating. But I can't stop reading cause the story is really good beside's the FL's stupidity.
