Facts, the fetishization of rape is legit in majority of yaoi manga/manwha and it sucks. It doesn’t depict a good picture to the younger/more naive audience that reads this stuff and might start thinking ‘hey, that’s my ideal relationship’ bc no, it’s toxic and unhealthy.

ikr people are gonna get the wrong idea when they hear someone saying “no” during sex because it’s so prevalent. like a lot of the times it’s not them playing hard to get, usually something actually hurts or they’re really uncomfortable. and idk about everyone else anyway but when i read the uke saying they like it or saying “yes” it’s a lot better to read than hearing “no”
something that never fails to disappoint me is the clear fetishization of rape in manga and manhwa. i’m not gonna stop reading because of it, but it’s just messed up to me idk
