But first of all, to understand my reasoning, when they were separated, they changed by each other; Yuu wanted to avenge him and the kids whereas Mika was determined to get him back. When they reunited, Yuu changed and Mika grew more overprotective of him as the story progressed. Even when he was ignored, Mika stayed at Yuu's side to keep him safe. There's a possibility that Yuu will either push away hid friends and turn back into his vengeful self or he'll be protective of his friends but will still be full of revenge to kill Guren.
My theory is that with Mika around and Yuu apparently being a clone, Yuu had a chance to survive. If Mika hadn't protected Yuu when they were escaping years ago, Yuu wouldn't live to be a teen, which was deemed a miracle by Guren's demon, claiming that the Yuu clones never live past 13 at the maximum. We also see Mika inside some sort of tomb with one Yuu drawn to him. Now that Mika is gone, Yuu will die soon as his death was suppose to happen a while ago. That or Mika will come back but possibly cloned.
I actually think that maybe the real Yuu and Mika are asleep but are hidden away by the vampire's creator as some sort of back up plan.
