It's kinda funny yet understandably reasonable that it took that long for Hyesung to admit his affection with Dojin. Reasonable with the fact that they started nonconsensually. Yes, it looked like Hyesung was annoyingly in denial that he wanted it but, it was 'instinct over reason'. In addition, how he acted so annoying, just immature, and vexingly obnoxious is understandable in a way that 1. he's a runaway, 2. left by his mom, 3. abused by his father, 4. Ignored by grandmother- all in all, he had no guidance towards maturity. Some might say maturity is self-taught but, it also depends on how someone is brought up, tho this is just a fic but, it's also how Hyesung was made into character. AND mind you, he's undeniably silly , he acts on impulse, and has no common sense. Yeah, it's irritating how obvious it was that he was being scammed, but that just showed how poor parenting would lead to and also lack of education. Ah, yes, he's a sucker for money but for a runaway, I think being shamelessly practical is understandable. It's for survival. Least he's being honest with his needs and desires rather than acting all shy and pretentious.
