Lol, I read a few more chapters and... my opinion hasn’t changed he still seems a bit to touchy for and abuse victim. Idk maybe I’m just projecting but the amount of times he goes to comfort her when she is clearly uncomfortable with him is upsetting. Like she clearly scared of him and his touch but still goes to touch her (without asking) and then go as for as to pick her up???? Like that not how that works??
I feel that their hearts are in the right place but is poorly executed.

To me the guy is using anything and everything, including people, to win at the game he plays or the plan he lays out. So he doesn't care about etiquette. As for the girl, the guy is literally her life hook. The one person who gave her a chance at life, so she does basically owe her life to him. It's typical manga/webtoon/story cliche
I feel like he's forcibly pushing her in the direction to be able to take what she needs without a man, or at the very least make use of men in her life since no matter what, as a women she will always be inferior in their society, whether she likes that or not. I'm not an abuse victim tho, so I can't say much on if it works or not, but personally, I feel like it does have some sort of merit to it.
Whoa I didn’t expect to create such a large discussion. I have no beef with the story I just didn’t like those little subtle things the ML would do. It just triggers me a bit so I just wanted to express that. I also just prefer stronger female leads, but I understand that because of their society it would be difficult for her to be so. It’s not a bad story! Just certain parts of it make me say “wtf???”
I love the fact the added some gentle POC characters and how genuine the reactions can be at times. Just critiquing parts that could have been different, plus every abuse victim is different and reacts differently so maybe that just the way she is. Much love everyone!

It’s like this manwha is saying is “all you all you need is a nice handsome guy to come save you and help you through your trauma” instead of just building her up allowing her to just get used to there presence. They don’t set boundaries for the men and it seem only the other women apologize for touching her outright when she noticed she was uncomfortable. (Warning I’ve only read the first chapter so I’m hoping it gets better but this had me heated and need to write about it)
