Tagged "strong female lead", Lucia has a second chance at life, a chance to change her fate, but the plot, or lack thereof, doesn't give Lucia any sorts of goals or causes to fight. Lucia isn't even strong-willed, as evidenced by the way she falls in love with the ML almost immediately, despite a promise not to. The ML is your stereotypical douchebag, but on god, he falls for his wife and dotes on her. Sort of. He's pretty much addicted to how cute she is during sex and that's... all the appeal.
Her contract marriage is supposed to "lead down a path even she couldn't foresee." And sure, there's eventually some sort of, wait for it, SKELETONS IN THE FAMILY CLOSET. Lucia's supposed to be a manic pixie dream girl who makes ML realise his humanity. Gross.
