Actually I agree, I think Hinata isn’t ready, or mentally mature enough, for a relationship. And so I’m glad they’re still interacting normally and not dating or whatever yet. Him randomly proposing to hinata actually I thought was totally his style LOL, and personally I enjoy him being so whipped but I do get why others wouldn’t. I just wish for his utmost happiness :)

ahhh same! I was so hoping their relationship wouldn't be going the romantic route while watching the anime but it is what it is.
I do like the way the mangaka handled their romance though. While it was a bit sudden and unexpected (which tbh does fit rei's character) I like that it wasn't like an overboard lovey-dovey shoujo manga thing but it was just a subtle change. And I do think they make a really good couple that I would actually like a lot if it wasn't for the lowkey sibling connection I see between them, haha.

I just came across the anime for this manga, and I instantly fall inlove like every thing is perfect it got the your lie in april and natsume yuujichou feels .., but sorry I just dont like the romance between rei x hina .. both of them are great characters but I dont want them together .. and its kinda rush like out of nowhere rei just proposed and all this time their family and me as a reader carefully watch their family bond .. its like having a romantic relationship with your brother or sister and I dont like that .. why did the author have to go that plot .. it was kinda annoying that they are not focusing on rei and on the manga like is he really the protagonist not hina? Grrrr sorry I just thought that I found another natsume yuujinchou so it saddens me i like their bond as a family cause I know thats what one of the things his looking for a place to belong ..
I actually appreciate more the presence of Nikaido than Hina (but hina seems like the protagonist now)
Sorry for my rants I am just depressed cos I watched the anime and read the manga in two days straight .. and I was hit by a punch that I didnt see coming .. would have like it more if they focus on rei and his matches ..
